(And God Bless!)
                                                          SLEEP
I would utter words I understood,
if sleep didn't grip my soul, I would.
It's a terrible moment as I wearily sway,
thinking about dreams at bay.

I could have sworn, just days ago,
it came so easily, like deaths cold grasp,
but now it's torture just to think about it.

It's like being thirsty, but never able to quench,
or hungry and ravenous, but no morsel in sight.
What has become of me?
Has a curse been set upon me,
so that I shall never close my eyes again?

Oh Lord, bless me. Take away this blight!
I want to rest,
in peacefulness to-night.

The Battle Cry

It was those days, where pride was overcome with ready joy,
as they restlessly paced the hills,
keeping a weary eye on the red that should soon come,
that would flood their home and try to bury their hope.
Nay though!, we shall never give it up,
we shall be the mighty men who fight,
with one hand hold the scale and the other the sword.
Rise in understanding that we shall never give in,
to the word 'defeat' at such a time.
Let our children know the sweet taste of freedom,
and be able to look out of their windows with pride.
Let them lend helping hands with out fear.
Swing your sword with furious manner!
Let them know what we have inside,
let them see the truth shall set us free!
Rise in the early morning,
prepare yourself for this powerful battle against them.
We can not rest, no, we can not rest.
We can only fight for those we love.
Fight my men, fight my army,
fight for this land we have claimed our own.
Ready your arms and ready your self,
battle is on the horizon,
let us not fear, for the good shall always conquer,
in God's name!
God Bless us all and see us through,
all my people,
this is a poem for you.

The Ant World

Like ants on the ground, we search like we're found, and we can't believe this is reality.
We like to pretend, we're all okay, everyday, but we can't decided whats wrong or right.
Caught between insanity and that latter, we like to pretend this is the better.
We are all false prophets at times, lining the streets, waiting to be intertwined.
When we prepare the truth, it sits under rocks, becoming the earth.
We always think we know what we're talking about, when the actual knowledge is, we're running our mouths.
With honest purpose we move along, to distinction, back and forth, like a ping pong ball.
Whatever we do, we all know our fate, so let's try and fix it up while we can.
Like little worker bee's, this is our fate, take or leave it, for goodness sake.

Never Stand Alone

I am stronger than you know,
I've fought the toughest battles,
a matter of life and death.

Now I can tell you,
reading from the past,
not to give up on the hope that sits before you.

I know of the thoughts that drive you into insanity,
the words that hurt more than ripped flesh.
I know you don't want to loose it all,
at the same time you want to give it all.

I swear I know,
how you feel when the floor swallows you,
leaving you gasping for air.

I can feel the tears representing the pain,
pouring forth, which you can not hold.

I know, that you can make it through,
although it all seems bleak,
I know the burden your hold,
as it slowly pierces through.

You seem afraid,
this I know, but I also know,
all is not lost.
If you stand up with me I can show you,
what got me through.

I will help lead you to the light,
which brings life.
Although I still stumbled I'll still hold you,
with all my strength.

Take all the pain,
and put it in the past and walk away.
Forgive yourself what you've done to your heart.

I've already been there in a different way,
listen to what I have to say.
I know you hurt,
and I know your pain.

But I swear I can help you,
get out of here.
I swear I can love you,
like you've always wanted.

This Wonderland Life
(Or From Alice to My Poor Twiddle Dee)

Was it not too long ago,
I talked with mice and rabbits too?
I'd debate with queens on what just to do,
as they took loud and lazy naps in my lap.
I sat for tea,
only to be bombarded nosily.
I tried to be polite but she didn't quite like it.
She yelled vulgar things,
I must amid it.

His smile was most delightful,
although it became all that I could see.
And must I say,
at least his naps weren't in my lap!

It's quite funny you know,
how I became the queen,
jumping over streams.

Oh well,
what a day,
through my looking glass and down the rabbit hole.

Sever Thunderstorms

It started in the heart of the earth,
rumbling and angry,
dripping saliva from it rubbery lips.
It clawed at the crust of the earth,
with loud, penetrating moans.
It gnawed on flesh and bone,
causing the world to shake.
It cried out mournfully,
till it broke the soil crust.
It's scaly skin, dark and gray,
rip through the incision.
What a beast!, they cry,
What a beast!
We shake and tremble and curse the world,
for producing such a disaster.
What may we call this beast?
What shall we call it's foulness?
What shall we mummer when we see it's face?
“Headache.”

Who I Am

Here I am with bloody knees,
ready to give up and let it go.
Here I am with a worn soul,
ready to sever the line of life.

But that's not the desolate road I will take,
I won't throw myself to the hungry earth.
I won't let the binds bring me down to the burning pit.

Here I am, willing to face the world,
never quite ready.
I've tasted the blood of suffering,
I've held the hand of hate.

Never knew what I could do,
never really planed to.
I let the weight and burned of fear cover my eyes,
tear me down and feast on my soul.

Hear I am, a tattered soul with a heavy heart,
on the edge of infinity,
not sure whether to go or not.
I hesitate as always.

I see the other side though,
sure this is not the end,
trying to take on the quaking earth,
not ready to give up to the cold hands yet.

Here I am, with in touch,
of something new but old to you.
How come I couldn't see,
what lay ahead of me?

I swear now this is my fate,
coming from old bonds,
to heavens gates.
I swear I'll never go from where I came.

Here I am,
battered and old,
but I know this is me,
and your plan with in me.

I want you to know,
what goes on behind the shield.

The hate boils inside,
only for myself,
afraid to love a wretch.

Blades waver over pain,
trying to sever it all,
in the best way known.

I want you to know the place I go,
when you think I'm all together.

I hide behind the masquerade,
ready to blame anything else but me,

I become torn between prevailing,
and giving it up.

I've sworn I heard him call,
only to feel left alone,
abandoned by my only hope.

I want you to know what goes on,
behind closed doors.
Curled up, waiting to die,
begging to be relived of this burden.
Tender pain coursing through the body,
unable to stop.

Choking with disgust,
ready to cave in,
blade perched above the skin.

Bleeding from the soul,
the idea already formed and planned,
close to being preformed.

I want you to know though,
that I am over coming it all.
I've gotten so close,
and backed away.

You might call me weak,
but I know I am strong.
After all I have suffered,
I know my wounds are healing,
and that nothing can touch me now.

I know now,
God touched me,
and made me strong.

A Unknown Mind

Between two curtains,
sits the door.
Beckoning and calling your beloved name.
It has a charm unlike any other.
Wise and sharp,
but witty and strong.

Your battered soul in unprepared,
for thought and reasoning,
beyond the matter.

Your decision seems far from important
but you feel the buzz of excitement inside your flesh.
Your heart knows that your head is empty.
Filled with nothingness and curses.

The door still calls,
in a rolling voice,
pleasing to itching ears.

You know not what lays ahead,
behind the oaken door.
Curiosity is strong,
stronger than reasoning in many ways.

Crawling forth and reach and grasp,
the old, rusted handle.
Alas, you've made up what seems to not be there.

Your turn the knob and you fall,
stumble inside.
Long arms welcome you,
with a familiar warmth.

You feel a longing, a constant strain,
emotion began to run free like the wind.
You heart sings,
calling a mate long ago forgotten.

Warm lips whisper in your ear,
'You've found me alas!”
You stand tall and feel brave.
A surge of strength.

You look around were you stand,
but your surrounded by black.
You whisper words,
and there they do appear.

You sing and their fruits become,
you are amazed by your fascination.
You halt in wonder.
As I whisper,
“This is all a result of your Unknown Mind.”

What Pours Forth is Result of Unknown Minds

What some might see as useless gibberish,
we see as tender touches.
We take our heavy burdens and let them fly,
fly over the mountains and hills.

We watch the glittering sunlight be swallowed by the earth,
the great and vast sky become small and vulnerable.

What you say is impossible,
we scream 'Impossible things are so very impossible!”
You believe in nothingness,
we believe in being.

Toast have been made to mothers and brothers,
but not to our sisters and fathers.
You tear apart our land and home,
and become the savages we rebuked.

Look yonder at those golden hills,
covered in blood!
Curse them if you wish but do not forget,
they're unwavering beauty as they crossed the sides,
and how they cried 'Alas!'

The ones who have yet to enter the land,
scream in pain and agony.
Rescue them from their cursed binds.

There are those who cry in the cold night winds,
cradled by their own hands.
They have scarred backs from the abuse,
of their trembling hands.

Words I have spoken,yes,
but you may not understand.
Just don't forget,
what I've been talking about,
don't hate me for it too.

These words I've spoken,
have no ending, not in this life I know!
Keep them going,
breath in the life that was meant to be.

Use your mind and words and heart,
to copy my unknown mind.

Mark it as,
“What Pours Forth is Result of Unknown Minds.”
