Here are some 'quotes' of mine. :)
Yeah, things I've said that I love saying.
'May the good Lord take that plank in your eye and beat you over the head with it.' - I read my Bible everyday, can't you tell?
'In order to fly we must fall off the edge of a cliff first.'- Yeaaaaaah.I got in touch with my sappy side as best as I could.
'Treat others like you treat your crush. Swoon over them.'- Hahaha, truth be told!!! :D
'If someone knocks you down just enjoy how funny they look from your view.' - *sings* I get knocked down, but I get up again, you ain't never gonna keep me down!"
'If you got too much 'love' you'll drown in it. Literally." - My negative views getting into my way....
'Hey, dude, pull your pants up.'- It's the truth.
'Olly Polly Og.' - Moving.
'Apolo Ohno got kicked out of the Ohno family because he said 'Oh Snap!'.'- From a very, very crazy mind.
And the best:
'The fact that I am a maniac has nothing to do with this.' - Lia
Enjoy. :)

Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance.
I know sometimes I can be too hard on myself. One of the area's I'm hard on myself is dance. I know I'm not a great dancer, not at all. But I love it. I grow angry sometimes when I can't do what some dancers can or what some old friend can. I envy them for what they can do.
But I have to remind myself two things:
How the snapple is anyone know about my dancing if I don't put my all out there and only do half of what I can do? I usually fear to actually get out there and move because--well that's just me being dumb. So here is where my first challange comes in:
'I will dance my best around otheres. Not just my mirrior."
The other thing is:
I have to practice! I can just expect myself to be good at something right away. I have to remind myself that some of the girls I compare myself to have been dancing since they were five!!! I realize I need to hold my head high and practice as much as I can. If I don't get any better then, well, I'll know dancing is not my thing. If I do--well, we'll see! :D
SO, here's my challange to you!
If you fall get back up again.
Yeah, I know, that just made you cry. The cliche-ness reeks off that but honstenly. Try it. Fall? Get right back up!
So it's simple, we all will learn to fly but in the process we have to fall. ;)

Step Up 3--Take Action
Step Up 3
-Take Action-
The last part to Step Up, my little series. First one I've actually completed! WHOOT! So here we go!
Last time I talked about Finding It or something like that. (Yeah, yeah, no laughing.) Anyway, I told you to find where God has laid your heart. Now, the next step can be the hardest or the easiest. Or maybe just like everyone or maybe somewhere in the middle. It depends on who you are. So here it is; Take Action.
Yeah, scary sounding isn't it? I mean---really who wants to actually...work? I know I sure don't all the time. I think half the people (or maybe 3/4 ) of the world HATE to work. No one wants to do anything, at all. We all want a robot named Bob to do it all for us, and don't deny it because we all know it's true. We just want to be lazy. Lazy. Lazy. I'll amidit I love being lazy, it's how I do things all the time. But I'm slowly learning how NOT to be lazy. Long and painful process I know.
Anyway, back to tacking action.
Once you've found where God wants you to be; maybe working with a Pro-life group or Special Ed. kids. Ether way, it's where God wants you or needs you to be. He has a plan for us. None small, all big, no matter how small it may seem. When we have our 'place' we have to take action. Move on it! Work! Put your heart into it! Maybe you sing, sing for God! Maybe you voulnteer with an Animal Rights group, show God's love through loving animals! It's amazing how God can use us anywhere. We don't have to be feeding children in Africa (although that is an awesome thing!) but we can be helping a elderly woman find joy again! Or help our neighbor through a tough day. Just TAKE ACTION!
Do you think Jesus just sat there eating grapes of the vine, waving a hand at a servant to go away? NO. He did it. He took action. He preached, he loved, he prayed, he wrohsiped! He saved us all! HE TOOK ACTION!!!!
So, we know what we have to do. Take action, like I've said tons of times. We can't sit back and act like we can't do it or that others can do it for us. We must realize we must pick up our part of the burden and joy and walk with or fellow people. We have to take action. In order for causes or anything like that to get anywhere we have to work, work, work!
So first, we must gain confidence in ourselves and in God!
Second, we have to find what God wants to do with us!
Third, we must take what God has given us and spread it out around the world or our street.
Praise the Lord and TAKE ACTION!

Step Up 2- Find It
Step Up 2
-Find It-
Okay, you've got the confidence right? You got just enough to get by or a little too much? Ether way--here's the next step I want us to take to stepping up.
It's called: Find it
Like I've said before confidence effects many areas in our daily life which means it also effects or willingness to do what God wants us to do. So once you've wrestled that confidence into the right forum there is only a few things left to do. The next step is finding the place we God wants you to work for him! It may be from over seas ministry to suicide prevention--God works in all those areas, so you can labor there too!
You wont know right away--it's not like those films were something totally profound happens and beams of light come shooting from the sky, although it's possible not likely. So start anywhere and try things. Don't just poke at them though, if your with maybe a Animal Protection group then dig in and try to help. If your not sure this is your area then pray! Pray for a while and keep on working. God doesn't want us to throw up our hands in disgust every time something doesn't work out. In fact, he loves it when we keep on trudging along and preserver!
All though we really want to find out right on the spot it's not always going to be easy and that's a fact of life we must learn. You can see all through out the Bible that this is true. Paul suffered but he even wrote that he found joy in his suffering! Jesus paid the price for us and experience pain for us! You see that we have to realize that we can't always get what we want right away like a three year old begging for candy.
So we must apply ourselves and look around for the 'thing'(s) that suite us! Like me? I love to blog my thoughts for other people to read, I work with the National Right to Life group and with my towns Animal Protection Society! One of my brothers loved Habitat for Humanity. When he was younger and up till only a year or so ago he'd work with them all the time. He even went to help where Katrina hit with them once. (I do believe)
When we do find our 'thing'(s) we might not notice that this is it right away. It might even take God practically screaming it in our ears. It happens all the time. Don't be embarrassed. ;) But you will one day find it if you keep your eyes open, pray and try to serve God best you can!
So there it is. Step 2, sort of.

Young
Young
I remember the days when we thought this was all,
when we'd believe anything at all.
We swore we'd never become like that,
and that we could be anything we wanted.
We found new lands,
in between times.
We made promises we didn't know we couldn't keep,
we didn't want to grow older than that.
We saw the elders and frowned in distaste.
We became new people when we wanted to,
acting better than any celberity could do.
Our hearts were in the best place,
even when we messed up.
We tried our hardest always to do whats right,
and we believed we were so smart.
Lord, help us go back to those days,
when we were so young,
young,
young.

Step Up 1 (The New and Improved Version---or MY version)
Okay, excuse the name. It's lame and stupid, this I know.
So I'm going to make a little series called 'Step Up'. There are going to be about two or three more of these. So here is the first one. It's my first so it's a little rough and once again, sorry about my terrible grammar.
So, here you go:
Step Up
-Gain The Confidence-
One thing many of our teens today (teen girls especially!) our facing is confidence issues. Media has learned how to pry open those wounds further and demand our populations attention and obedience. When confidence is lacking it causes other things in a person to lack. From social skills to academics. Confidence can be battered by depression, things people have said to you and you might just have a hard time loving yourself. Trust me, I've experienced all three!
Today though confidence is what gets most people through. You see a strong, well put person and wonder just how they do it. Well, it's confidence. Although they might not have a great confidence they have just enough to get them through. Confidence shapes who we are at times. Now the trick is just becoming confident! Here's some ways I gained a better confidence even though it's not the best one:
That's all it really took for me although it took a long time. Years actually. But once you gain confidence you can do so much. Your able to look people in the eye, walk around with squared shoulders and chin up! You become a new person--just in a good way. When you gain confidence you can also become stronger in your faith.
Gaining confidence can come easily to some people and harder to others. Some of us have to grope around for it while other acquire it right away.
Getting confidence can change us and it's the first step to Stepping Up!
(OKay, poorly put togther and short but I wanted to get it finish and I have other things I have to go do. Sadly. :/ So hopefully the 2nd will be better!)

- I listened to people when they complemented me. I might have replied negatively but I believed them. It helped me a ton.
- I began to look at myself in a better view. I wouldn't criticize myself when I looked in the mirror, I'd point out the good things.
- I'd tell myself I could do it even when I didn't think I could. It lead to more positive thinking.
- I believed God didn't make junk. ;)
- I didn't believe those lies I'd tell myself about myself.
That's all it really took for me although it took a long time. Years actually. But once you gain confidence you can do so much.
